Spdif digital out what sort?

Postby asppie » Sun Feb 18, 2007 9:16 pm

I´m a little bit confused what kind of digital output it is on my AMILO M1437G. Spdif could be two sort, optical or electrical.
Often when It is optical i lights up when you acivate the output but not on this one, so maybe it´s an electrical one?

Pleeze someone who have an idea what kind of digital output i have on my notebook?

Thank´s for answer
Best regards Pierre from Sweden.

Now I´m more confused.
You say it´s optical ehh?
Why isn´t it lights up when i choose the SPDIF out signal in the controlpanel of the soundcardmanager.

Maybe it´s been activated when I put in the optical cord?

Best regards Pierre

Hi, in Sound Manager from control panel, when you go to SPDIF and change values between 96, 48, 44.1 Khz, if you look into the output port exactly when you choose a value, you'll see a red light for a second. So, it's optical
