I am New On this Fourm
Please Help me to select a new processor for my amilo pro v2010
I allredy have 1.5ghz celeron But its very slow i want To Upgrade Vista in my laptop

According to the BIOS version history, there is support for Banias Pentium M processors. Dothans with 400 MHz FSB could work also, but I don't know.

For what it is worth , I have tried a Pentium M 735a ( Dothan ) in my v2010 and it wouldn't boot into Windows , safe mode yes , but full Windows no , so I acquired a Banias based 1.5ghz processor and that runs Ok , fan comes on a lot more but it runs well enough that with 1gb memory and an 80gb Hitachi 8mb cache hard drive I can run Vista business . So go for as fast a Banias processor as you can get ( 1.7ghz I think )
