Hi!

I'm using an a1667g laptop whith an Athlon 64 processor. I've installed winxp x64 edtioon several times (whith different SP/RC -s), but every time I wanted to play a game it was it's like on steroids, the speed of the gameplay was way over the playability level. Can anyone help me whith this?

At the moment I can't recommend XP 64, because of driver support and compatibility problems...
I suppose XP 32-bit works fine?

Now back to topic itself:
CPU driver installed, so it scales its speed?
Does the graphics driver support PowerPlay? Maybe you have to deactivate this, or choose the highest setting.

Regards
Aaron

PS:
Games do not benefit of 64 bit afaik, only certain programs (mostly video encoding).

The CPU driver was the first driver to be installed, and the graphics driver is a good question, as far as I can remember it doesn't installs the catalyst controll center. (which is a bad thing because of the widescreen game support, but i can live whithout it).
All drivers originated form the FuSi website
