I bought Amilo LI 1705.

Installed Windows XP and blu screen appears with Stop 0x0000007D error on screen.

Its because there is no SATA drivers for VIA chipset in XP.

Best solution would be to enable options in BIOS to [AHCI] i change to [IDE] mode.

A lot of BIOS manufacturers has this option:

- IDE - Set the SATA channel to IDE mode. (Default value)

Only this supid AMIlo BIOS doesn't.

It's a shame for such manufacturer that disable support for Windows XP user !!! XP is not some oooooooold version, you can still bye it. What would happend if you gave support just for one type of Linux, who would bye it?

Other solution is to slipstream SATA driver in XP with nLite or similar program, but this is only for expirienced user.

If I knew that there is no support for XP I would never bye it !!!
