Postby Stevesupra » Thu Mar 22, 2007 1:49 pm

Hi all,
I have just installed Vista 32 bit on my Amilo A1360.
Every thing works except the cpu never runs above 800mhz.
I have tryed installing the xp driver- game over!.
I also tryed setting the power profiles etc, no joy.
Any ideas please!

Did you lower the cpu voltages?
Is it possible to boot the system in safe mode? (Press F8 to get a menu when booting.)

Hello again,
no, i did not alter the voltages or any other default except the multiplier settings as follows. 4x - 8x and 12x, 200mhz being the base frequency.
This intially work then blue screens and system freezes.

Amilo A1369 Vs Vista

First of all thank you for your continued help.
What is the correct way to use this software and does it mean a hack every time i use the laptop?. It obviously is a driver problem generally.
Is there a fix that once installed thats that when done?
Regards
Steve
