instanton and Vista 3438g

Postby tkj » Sat Mar 31, 2007 10:48 pm

Hi, i installed vista on my amilo 3438g, all is good but 2 things:
1. The fan hopeing for a solution soon :-)
2. Installation of instanton

If i download the instanton from the support site, and install it under vista i get a memory error, even in XP compatible mode.
So could anyone tell me if they know a way to install the instanton application on a vista machine :-)

on the fan problem please let me know if you know a solution as well :-)

Afaik it is not possible to use InstantOn and Vista (so far, it should be possible, because InstantOn is a modified Linux).

Which bootloader are you using?
Did you install InstantOn in XP?

instanton and Vista 3438g

Postby tkj » Thu Apr 05, 2007 8:48 pm

Hi aspettl, im not sure what you mean by bootloader? do you ask if i created a bootdisk? if so i did not do that.

I simply installed VISTA - during so my HD was formatted. Now i like to install instanton, would i have to create a bootdisk for this? since i cannot install it from vista...

Before vista instanton was working fine on xp

cheers
