AMILO 1437G and Express card real problem.....HELP.please

Postby perro » Tue Apr 03, 2007 12:59 pm

Hi guys;

CODE 31...PCI to PCI bridge error.....
I bought a week ago express card STLAB
2 firewire400 ports and
1 USB 2.0
as You know EC supposed to be hotswappable...
Mine is not:(
Interesting thing is USB works fine, but two 1394 ports don't
It does matter when I connet EC.
When I connect it before startUP laptop, it works 50/50 - sometimes machine doesn't boot at all, sometimes boots, and then I have a one firewire port working ....fine??(when unplugged and plugged again windows behave unnatural...and usualy freeze..)
second port doesn't work at all....
when i swap cables it's fine, it's not a port it is commun ication between PC and EC.
When computer is on and I try to connect EC, its always CODE 31 erroe - with PCI to PCI bridge drivers problem.

I don't know is it PC issue or Express Card issue.....
BIOS update - didn't help.:(
and I can't find a solution on the NET...
by the way, guys, Do you know how to send email to fujitsu support???
I can't find it on website....

hope someone can help me...'cause I need these 2 firewire ports very badly....

You can try technical.support@fujitsu-siemens.com - but I don't know if this address is correct.

Phone: http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/ ... pdesk.html

Your problem:
I suppose there are no newer drivers?
