Battery Life and Charge Time V2055 (This is my first laptop)

Postby Quill » Wed Apr 04, 2007 1:05 pm

Hi,

I have a new V2055 and have a some questions....

1) How long is it supposed to take to charge the battery ? Mine takes about two hours to get to 100% is this right? What is the average recharge time for these batteries ?

2)The battery only seems to last about 90 mins but the official FS figures say 2.5 hours - Do you think I have a duff battery ?

3) How can I tell if is is a 3 or 6 cell battery ? It does not say anything on the battery itself.

Appreciate any answers.

Quill.

2 hours is not bad.

It depends on the workload etc.
Use the lowest brightness, don't do anything cpu consuming, don't use the dvd drive, deactivate WLAN, ...
