hey evy1 am new here...wishin u could help me

i just spilled some pepsi on my amilo m6450G nd it wasnt a lot jst a bit on da keyboard nd some xtra on the screen just above the Fujitsu-siemens LOGO loool nyway i unplugged evything nd started cleanin....left it 4 like a day or so nd when i powered it up my backlight doesnt work....i can see my desktop but no backlight....plus my warranty ends on 3 may 2007 lool so i aint got much time.....was also wondering if the warranty covers dis shit or should i tell them a diffrent story....???

hopin nyone can help me elsewhere...screeen or warranty
p.s my screen is crystal bright lcd

This isn't coveredy by warranty and they will see it is damaged by liquid. So "another story" isn't an option (I wouldn't support it anyway).

I don't know which component is broken. Maybe someone else can give you some hints.
Otherwise: You have to either pay the FSC support or another independent workshop.

well heeey after extensive dryin over my window ledge nd waitin 4 days it worked again but fortunately i had already called the FS. i just told them str8 ahead i had a problem with my FL converter ..they said bring it up nd we will replace it... :lol: :wink:

didnt have to make ny stories nd btw it was workin b4 i went up there ..theyre repairin it by now hopefully nd gettin it back 2mrrw :lol: :lol: woohoo
