Amilo Li 1718 problems with keyboard layout

Postby candido » Wed May 02, 2007 6:44 pm

I have got a new Amilo Li1718 with windows vista. I changed to windows xp, and since then my keyboard does not work properly keys as =!¿?... they are not in their correct place. I mean, the character written is not the same as on the key, but only for these characters:=ç´´``÷-¨¨ etc.

I have updated the Bios version from 1.1 to 1.3. No fix the problem.
I have tested that the drivers are the same than in other Siemens PC that I have with the same layout. Driver installed is i8042rt.sys
Searching on System Information, Components, Inputs, Keyboard, where it appears Microsoft standard keyboard 101!102 and so on, I found that the layout is 0001040A instead 000040A, this one belongs to the correct one.

How can I change that layout?
If you have any other idea, to fix this problem, please tell me it.

Thanks
Regards
