Amilo Pi1505 UK keyboard wanted

Postby davidmerrifield » Thu Jun 07, 2007 6:09 pm

Hi

I recently bought an Amilo Pi1505 whilst in Switzerland, and have had no difficulty with its bundled Vista being rejigged to be English, and have of course loaded English versions of software etc.

However, the keyboard is not a regular QWERTY keyboard and has loads of other irritating anomalies that distinguish it from being a regular UK keyboard.

My question is very simple. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a UK keyboard to fit my laptop? I have tried countless websites and have had very little help from the FSC people themselves. I have already removed the Swiss one, and it's an easy job, so all I need is to find a supplier and order a UK keyboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you ask FSC where to get spare parts?

keyboard for Amilo Pi1505

Hi Aaron
Yes I spoke to FSC about spares and they directed me to a partner firm which is also on their website. However, they believe they would need to take the laptop from me and send it off for refitting. This is utterly unnecessary as the job is a 2-minute job to do myself. I just want to buy a spare UK keyboard!
