I got a wireless mouse which i prefer to use then the touchpad.
I now run XP Pro on the amilo L6825.

I think i saw someting on another thread but can't seem to find that one.

Anyway if anyone knows i would be grateful

Hi,

there are many possibilities. You may have an option in BIOS to disable your touchpad. Maybe you can disable the touchpad in the device manager. Maybe you can install a driver for your touchpad (probably Synaptics), then you can disable the touchpad in the options of the Synaptics driver.
