m1437g microphone problem(s)

Postby tucoz » Wed May 10, 2006 8:56 pm

I have Ubuntu Dapper installed on my m1437g, but I can not get the microphone to work. I found a german thread on the same topic, but it was kind of hard to follow what the conclusion is. Has anyone got their microphone (ext/int) working under Linux on their m1437g (or similar)?

Hi

According to this german thread you need ALSA 1.0.11rc1 from the CVS.
"Front Mic" should work, 70% volume for the integrated microphone (but it's only mono).

Thanks :) I'll see if I compile my own drivers then.
