HELP with amilo Li 1818 (ICH7) family

Postby sonxfuj » Mon Aug 13, 2007 8:40 am

Hello good people. New here hoping i will find my help. I seem to experience problems detecting the SATA HD on XP setup. I tried two methods with no avail.

1. Used the f6floppy32.exe to create a disk but my notebook controller (Intel(R) 82801GBM + ICH7M) controller is not listed on the menu after pressing F6. This list contains only four
- ICH9 SATA AHCI
- 82801HEM SATA RAID (ICH8M - E)
- 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI (ICH8M - E/M)
- ICH8R/ICH9R SATA RAID

2. Integrated chipset drivers using nLite with XP CD but now get a strange "ntfs.sys" corrupted during setup. Well this process included slipstreaming SP2 with my SP1 XP cd. Waisted 5 discs thinking i did slipstreaming wrong but same results.

HELP

Did you download this one?
Intel Matrix Storage Manager Version 7.6.0.1011
Readme lists ICH7M as supported.

@ aspettl ... i'm looking at pre-installing the drivers by pressing F6 & use floppy, this is what the f6floppy32.exe does (creates a floppy disk for F6 option). But now after pressing F6 my chipset is not listed thus still cannot detect the HD. The link you provided are drivers after installing XP correct?

Yes... but you've got the same version, only as floppy?
You could also try xp-iso-builder, maybe that works better.

I'll take it there's isn't a floppy file (F6 floppy) which list my system then. Well, guest i'll try the XP CD integration until i succeed.

Thanx for your help though...
