A1645 Code 10 Vinyl AC'97

All kinds of problems or malfunctions without known reason. Also general problems with the notebook as a whole.

A1645 Code 10 Vinyl AC'97

Hi Just bought a A1645, and it has no sound. Device manager is showing Code 10, CANNOT START DEVICE against the Vinyl AC'97

Have downloaded the drivers for the machine from Fujitsu site, but it made no difference. have reinstalled windows xp pro, and it makes no difference either.

I have esablished it has a SIS 7012 sound device but that's about it.

has anone experiencd this before? what's the sollution............help! :(

I've got the same problem. Any suggestions please?
