Hi
I don't think that there are any drivers for windows xp for your notebook, just because XP is unsupported by FSC.
You can try to mail FSC support and ask for xp drivers, but since they're not on their site I don't think they exist.
I don't know if every notebook brand has this problem but when I buy a new notebook I will definetly check if the're are drivers available for every operating system. And after that check the release dates of the drivers, because FSC drivers are very old and are never being updated.
The only option for u is to run vista on your notebook. But with 1Gb ram I would have definatly tried a downgrade, like u did.
The best for u is to, if possible, add some ram. Your notebook will then definetly become faster, and more capable of running vista which in my opinion needs 2gb MINIMAL!!! This because your IGP (integrated graphics processor) also uses your system memory. You can maybe force FSC to make drivers for xp, because 1gb just isn't enough for Vista. But I doubt if they will.
Good luck with this.
Cheers
